everyone hates on tmi for the weird plot but jace will forever be my book boyfriend and clace my otp. it was one of the first “og 2010s books” i read as a kid (think hp, divergent, maze runner, twilight, hunger games, etc) and it has a special place in my heart for that. It’s also the only series Cassie has written more than 3 books for and to me it feels like she put a lot of her heart and soul into them. idk i just like tmi and i feel like it gets hated on too much, like it’s still a good series even if the plot devices she used *cough cough inc3st* were weird

My first choice would be Jace because he LITERALLY stated a LOT of times during TMI that he felt murderous angry when he felt jealous of Simon or Sebastard over Clary, and he was ready to punch Jordan in the face when he said Clary was cute 😂 He even got mad in CoB when Clary was looking at Alec too much 😂😂😭💀

BUT Clary's got a SHORT temper and there's that scene in CoLS where she has this feelings of possessiveness when people is staring at Jace too much 😂😭

aside from clary's unusually straight hair, something else that really irks me are her BANGS. like i can't be the only one who hates the way that in more recent years, she's been drawn as a ginger, but she has bangs and straight hair?? i mean, was there a hairstyle change that was mentioned in the books that i wasn't aware about or what?😭😭😭

i mean, she looks so cute, don't get me wrong, but i feel like clary's thing for me is having her curly hair. i mean it's probably been more tame since she's getting older, but still, i would love if they would bring her beloved curls or even just waves back. Xx
